He did his Pre-Commission basic Courses from Britannia Royal Naval College, UK. Also Completed his post commission ISLC Course from the same college in 1983. There after he received various courses in India USA Srilanka. He is a graduate of Defence Services Command and staff college, Mirpur and alumni of Asia Pacific Center for Strategic Studies, Hawai. He Commanded various types of BN Combat ships and major establishments. He served as Flag LT to Chief of the Naval Staff and in DGFI. He also served in UN Mission in Tajikistan. For a short duration he served in Bangladesh Coast Guard as director Personnel. Before jonining KSY he was acting as Naval Secretary in Navy Headquarters. He is a widely travelled person.

Position General Manager (Design & Planning) Name & Rank Captain M Shafiul Azam, (E), psc,BN Educational Background: Captain M Shafiul Azam, (E) psc, BN obtained his graduation from BUET in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He did his Marine Engineering Specialization from Royal Naval Engineering College, UK. He is a graduate of Defence Services command and Staff College of Bangladesh and Armed Forces Staff College of Germany. He has received his Masters in Defence Studies (MDS) from the National University of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. Experience: He served as Engineer Officer on board different naval ships and held staff appointments in various capacities including Director of Naval Engineering in the Naval Headquarters. He performed instructional duties in the Engineering School of BN and Bangladesh Naval Academy (Junior Staff Course) and also in the Defence Services Command and Staff College of Bangladesh (as a Directing Staff). He assumed various duties in the Bangladesh Navy Dockyard including the duties of Manager (Planning and Estimating) and Manager (Production).

Position DGM(Electrical) Name & Rank Commander Anisur Rahman Mollah,(L),psc,BN Educational Background: He is a graduate from the Bangladesh Naval Academy (BNA) under Chittagong University and obtained Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He did his Specialization on Electrical, Electronics and Weapon Engineering from India. He has undergone various training courses related to Electrical Engineering, both at home and abroad. He did Junior Staff Course (JSC). He is a Mirpurian, completed Principal Staff Course (PSC) and obtained Master in Defence Studies (MDS) under National University. Experience:He served in Bangladesh Naval Academy (BNA), School of Maritime Warfare and Tactics (SMWT) as instructor and onboard different warships as Weapon Engineering Officer/Electrical Officer, BNS SHAHEED MOAZZAM, Kaptai as Officer in Charge, Electrical and Radio Electrical School and Naval Headquarters as Deputy Director. He also served under United Nations in MINURSO, Western Sahara as United Nations Military Observer (UNMO). He is happily married and blessed with two daughters.
